OPPORTUNITIES.
Built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, the Short Street Kitchen is the Piedmont Triad's powerhouse production hub for culinary entrepreneurs. Short Street offers professional-grade facilities, expert mentorship, and a collaborative community to help you grow your business. Short Street is a business accelerator. With limited membership opportunities available each year, we are dedicated to supporting committed entrepreneurs who are ready to invest the time, effort, and resources needed to succeed.

1
Schedule a Meeting
Meetings to discuss becoming a part of the Short Street Team must be arranged exclusively through direct contact with management. We do not conduct unscheduled tours.
During the meeting, a Short Street team member will discuss your operations and help determine if Short Street is a good fit for your business.
You will also have the opportunity to meet Senior Members of the Short Street community and observe their operations in action.
PLEASE NOTE: we accept only a limited number of startup members each year, therefore, applicants must be operationally prepared to dedicate the time, effort, and finances needed to start and sustain a business for a minimum of 6 months membership. This ensures that new members are positioned for success within our community.
2
Applying for Membership
If it is determined during the meeting that your operations is a good fit for Short Street Kitchen, you may request access to our online application process.
Once submitted, our Senior Management team will review your application and follow up with any additional questions. The review process typically takes 1-2 weeks.
Please note that a $150 application fee is required at the time of submission.
Upon approval of your membership, you will receive detailed instructions to complete the onboarding process, including any required regulatory permitting.
Additionally, to hold your membership at Short Street while completing the permitting process, you will be required to pay membership reservation fees. This ensures your spot is reserved until you are fully permitted and ready to begin operations.
